Cadmium's major use is in batteries (especially rechargeable nickel-cadmium, NiCad, Batteries). Cadmium compounds are used as red, orange and yellow pigments, to colour glass, and to stabilize plastic.
The main uses of Cadmium are Batteries, Pigments, Plastics, Jewellery Making, Specialised Industrial Paints, Ceramics and Glasses, Cadmium for PVC stabilizers, Cadmium for PVC Stabilisers, Cadmium Coatings, Electroplating, Mechanical Plating and Vacuum and Ion deposition.

Copper Cadmium Alloy, Zinc Cadmium Alloy, Lead Cadmium Alloy, Tin Cadmium Alloy, Soldering Alloy.
